Setting up Distinctive Ring is a two step process.
- Enable Distinctive Ring in the customer record.
- Setup the phone to use Distinctive Ring.

Enabling Distinctive Ring in the Customer Record
- Go to the Customer Record's Service Features tab.
- Go to Voice Calls --> Incoming Calls
- Use the dropdown menu to enable Distinctive Ring (Change to Yes).
- Click Save or Save & Close.
Setup the phone to use Distinctive Ring
For this example, we used a Yealink T41 (please check with your phone vendor to see if this option is available on the phone).
- Go to the Account tab.
- Go to Advanced on the left side.
- Distinctive Ring Tones and change it to Enabled.
- Then Click Confirm to save the changes.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Go to Ring on the left sde.
- Enter the following into the field:Â bellcore-r2
- Change the ringtone.
- Click on Confirm to save the changes.
