Yealink - Distinctive Ring
 

Setting up Distinctive Ring is a two step process.

  • Enable Distinctive Ring in the customer record.
  • Setup the phone to use Distinctive Ring.

 

Enabling Distinctive Ring in the Customer Record

  1. Go to the Customer Record's Service Features tab.
  2. Go to Voice Calls --> Incoming Calls
  3. Use the dropdown menu to enable Distinctive Ring (Change to Yes).
  4. Click Save or Save & Close.

Setup the phone to use Distinctive Ring

For this example, we used a Yealink T41 (please check with your phone vendor to see if this option is available on the phone).

  1. Go to the Account tab.
  2. Go to Advanced on the left side.
  3. Distinctive Ring Tones and change it to Enabled.
  4. Then Click Confirm to save the changes.
  5. Go to the Settings tab.
  6. Go to Ring on the left sde.
  7. Enter the following into the field: bellcore-r2
  8. Change the ringtone.
  9. Click on Confirm to save the changes.
